Refunds & rescheduling
These terms apply to paid engagements with Mindkernel Base: Macroeconomic Indicator Impact Reviews, Pre-Release Market Briefings, Policy Decision Watch packages, and Portfolio Macro Overlay Sessions.
Eligibility
Refunds depend on how far preparation has progressed and whether a release-date reservation blocked other desk work. Informal website enquiries with no accepted scoping note and no payment are not refund matters.
Timeframe to request
Contact [email protected] within 7 days of the event giving rise to the request (cancellation, material delay on our side, or billing error). Include the scoping note reference and invoice number.
Full refund
A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and cannot offer a suitable alternative date before your decision deadline.
Partial refund
If you cancel after the scoping note is accepted but before substantial research begins, we may refund amounts paid minus an administrative portion of up to 20% of the engagement fee to cover intake already completed.
If research has begun but the final brief has not been delivered, a partial refund may be offered reflecting work completed; typically 30–60% of the fee may be retained.
Non-refundable items
- Deposits after substantial research has started (historical maps drafted or scenario writing underway).
- Completed walkthroughs and delivered final briefs.
- Rush adders once rush preparation has started.
- Third-party data or materials purchased specifically for your engagement with prior written approval.
Process
Email a refund request with your details. We confirm eligibility within five business days and state any retained portion. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days unless a bank requires longer.
Cancellation & rescheduling
You may reschedule a briefing or overlay session once without charge if you give at least three business days’ notice. Later reschedules may incur a THB 4,000 administrative fee. Release-tied impact reviews cannot always move if the print date is fixed; in that case cancellation terms above apply.
No-shows
Failure to attend a scheduled walkthrough or session without 24 hours’ notice forfeits that session component. Written deliverables already completed remain payable.
Work already started
Once comparable-print research or drafting has started, fees reflect effort incurred even if you later narrow the scope.
Exceptions
Statutory rights under Thai law that cannot be waived remain available. Nothing in this page limits those rights.
