About Mindkernel Base
A Bangkok research desk focused on macroeconomic indicator impact reviews for teams who trade and allocate in real markets.
Mindkernel Base began as a small Ploenchit practice helping regional desks prepare for dense release weeks. The work stayed narrow on purpose: macroeconomic indicator impact reviews for financial market analysis — not full macroeconomic forecasting shops, not brokerage research libraries.
Mission
Give investment and treasury teams a clear, channel-specific reading of how a named indicator may transmit into the markets they manage, in time for a real decision.
How we work
We favour written briefs that separate rates, FX, and equity channels, then a live walkthrough where assumptions can be challenged. Bangkok is our home base because so many of our clients watch Thai and regional prints alongside global anchors.
People
Arisa Thongchai
Research lead. Former sell-side macro analyst covering ASEAN rates and FX. Directs flagship impact reviews.
Daniel Orth
Engagement lead. Coordinates scoping, client walkthroughs, and policy-watch packages across Asia time zones.
Values in practice
We would rather narrow the scope than inflate certainty. We cite public sources and label judgment as judgment. We keep fees tied to named deliverables, not open-ended “coverage.”
Bangkok context
Our office at Level 13, 48 Ploenchit Road sits near the desks and family offices we serve. In-person overlay sessions remain available when the calendar and traffic allow.
